Our work is garage floors, basements, shops, and commercial and light industrial floors. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake broadcast and metallic systems.

We decide on the system after we have tested the slab. A 1950s garage in an older Cedar Rapids neighborhood, a basement that took water in 2008, and a new attached garage in a Marion subdivision are three different jobs, even at the same square footage. The concrete tells us how much grinding, patching and moisture control it needs, and that drives both the product and the price.

• Diamond grinding of the slab, edges included, before anything is applied.

• Clear instructions on when you can walk on the floor, move things back and drive on it, based on the product and the temperature that day.
• Any change in scope written up and approved by you before we do it.

We only coat concrete. If a slab has a problem a coating cannot solve, such as water coming through a crack, a settling section or a crack wider than about a quarter inch, we say so at the estimate and point you toward the right kind of repair first.
